Evaporation of the water leaves behind the fine salt crystals rich in minerals for which Lunn is renowned. Moerover, Lunn is a Fai Trade certified product, which ensures that the salt farmers and workers involved in the supply process get better remuneration, decent working conditions and their overall socio-economic development. Summer Harvest is a special variety of salt which is the result of local sand storms during hot summer season. This is what adds an earthy of-white colour and a distinct taste to Lunn.
